Teeth Whitening
After careful isolation, a whitening gel is applied to the teeth surfaces, which is activated by a LED lamp for 20-30 minutes. The effect is instant and further develops in the following days.
After impressions are taken at a previous visit, the patient receives custom-made splints for the upper and lower jaw and a set of whitening gels. For 2 weeks, he or she must place gel in specific areas of the splints each night and sleep with them. The effect is slower and based on the patient's responsibility.
Bonding
Bonding is a method of modeling teeth with different layers of composite in order to mimic the tooth layers (dentin, enamel). It is also known as composite facets. This is used to correct erasions, irregularities, spacing, discoloration and slight distortions of the teeth achieving even and better looking teeth. Bonding needs to be maintained by polishing at least once a year to make it last as long as possible.
Veneers
Veneers are thin plates of zirconium or presceramic that cover the front surface, the lateral edges and the cutting edge of the front teeth (incisors and canines). They are made for the same purpose as bonding - correction of color, abrasions, spacing, slight distortion. They are a long-term solution compared to to bonding and do not require maintenance.
Aligners
Aligners are last-generation system for correcting mild to moderate cases of teeth crowding. Using special software, a step-by-step analysis is performed and a number of clear splints are fabricated that move the teeth gradually and smoothly to the final result. The digital nature of the method helps to predict the final result with maximum accuracy and predictability in terms of time. The advantage is that they are transparent and practically invisible, which helps to preserve the patient's daily rhythm of life.
Dental implants
An implant is a titanium foreign body resembling a screw that replaces the root(s) of a tooth. After the first stage of placement, the implant takes several months to integrate into the bone. The second stage is the surgical reveal of the implant and placement of a forming device to properly shape the gum for the crown, after which an impression is taken and a crown is prepared.
More and more patients are choosing to have a single or multiple implants placed with crowns on them made of zirconium or metal-ceramic over the alternative of bridges made of the same materials, where the healthy adjacent teeth are filed down.
After a preliminary consultation with our surgeon, it is decided whether the patient is suitable for implant placement and an offer with a treatment plan is provided.
